hi guys, I’ve been going to united for a year now, I don’t want to spread bad news or anything, but tyo college ko environment is so toxic and dull it’s like I’m suffocating whenever I’m there, also the staff never laughs or smiles it’s like they don’t get paid enough 💀 moreover, it feels like they prioritize studies more than students ko mental health but conduct ‘MeNtAl hEalTh’ programs dekhauna matrai😭. seriously, it’s exhausting how they don’t realize students have a life outside studies and that they don’t need to focus on studies 24/7.and by 24/7, I mean how they expect you to just lock away your social life (a coordinator literally said this) and distance yourself from every function and focus on physics or whatever. Their justification for saying this? “dui barsa matrai ta ho ni” like no dawg… kasaile testo gardaina just because you said so + Saturdays matrai Bida dincha ani tetibela pani you have so many practicals you can’t go out, it’s insane.
they also have different STAIRCASES for girls and guys to limit interaction as much as possible… like what
I know I might be reaching and this might be normal plus two behavior but I’ve seen my friends go to way chill colleges who are good at what they do and also prioritize their students emotions and are not as exhausting as united is, I’ve already spent one year here but I still think how much better my life would’ve been if I went to another college instead

i think United was shitted by many here in this sub. for +2 always choose community college. considering the course i would even advocate to join government.. even for bachelors or masters.

I went to Unites from 2013 to 2015 and back then it was very good. Sure it was tight af and DI were very strict but they focused on study, having to give re exams till you pass but all of that helped me do well in studies.

Study and good academics can only take you so far. Kasle bhanidine hamro Nepal ko conservative college administration lai. You cannot create a fully well rounded human being with just study. People need to make mistake or else you will only create people who will continue the same old system, you can’t create creative thinkers.
We are creating a country that will work for the likes of Steve Jobs and Zuckerberg. And that’s not bad btw. It’s just sucks that we won’t create the next jobs or Zuckerberg or gates.
Liberal education system will create thinkers. Conservative education system will create followers. Grades doesn’t matter in long term. It’s just fact. Grit matters. Grade doesn’t.
I worked for United once as one of my first jobs. Super toxic.
But a fun incident I wanted to share:
DI’s seem to think that it’s their duty to look after the employees and the **neighborhood** too.
This uncle’s house was in front of one of United’s buildings (kumaripati, same galli bhitra). The DI’s would knock on the door and ask the owner not to ‘smoke’ on his **own** terrace as he lived in a school area. It isn’t a good example for United students. The uncle threatened to call police next time they came knocking on their door and suggested they should think about relocating their school/ college as it was in a residential area.

It’s been 7 years since I left united. Every friday tyo tori topi na lagako vanera pushups garnu parthyo. Plus naya topi pani kinna lagauthyo.
A girl is hunting from that college since eight years . I hallucinate like auditory and and in suffering from that day, I used to live in front of her house we never talk to each other and we never meet. I’ve been taking medicine because of auditory hellucination.
Her family used to torture me till today. I don’t know her name or anything but I know her house. If anyone know her plz mention her and I will be free of my suffering.

So, my friend (fresher) joined united recently and its been a while she hasnt got any complaints from there she’s like “United is friendly and people so are free about their emotions”

Her major is computer (Management) so maybe its all chill due to less pressurized subject
