  1. yesto condition ma ne yo level ma pugexa … football ma ali dherai politics , senior player dominance cha ane testo intent chai dekhdina ma ,kai improve hola jasto ne lagdaina ..tara cricket ma next 5-10 years consistent vayo vane hami dherai mathi jana sakcham

  2. I grew up watching and playing cricket. Being a kid in the 90’s and having parents who loved cricket, I was exposed to it from a young age. All my friends love it with an equal passion. I remember back in 2003, the whole of Tundi Khel filled with different teams playing cricket, and at least 1 team playing football.

Some of the kids I played with went on to play for the National team, and now it seems it is getting more and more popular as Nepali players make their mark in the international level whether playing for Nepal or some club.

  3. Nepali Ko national team ko kura garne bhaye ta
Nepali Cricket Team has a lot more supporter than Nepal’s Football team this happened after Cricket team performance in 2014 WC and Football teams in 2015
    Saff Championship
Tara still Nepal ma Football herne manxe dherai Xan Pl
Ra Laliga herne fan haru dherai xan

  4. imo, football ko popularity chai massively ghatira cha baru. ANFA bhitra kei scandal haru, player ani board disagreement, match fixing scandals, players leaving, sagar thapa wala scandal haru le garda people are moving away from football. ani parallelly, nepal saw a massive performance boost in cricket from 2014 to 2023. tesle pani badhira chha

  5. i think its just loud minority. We don’t participate in much football matches compared to cricket that’s why there is more excitement and engagement in social media whenever the match happens, while when it comes to football most of the talk happens within the circle because it doesn’t involve the country so we don’t see the participation.

Also most of the football matches we play with are with weaker countries whereas when it comes to cricket it happens with quite strong or popular nations so there is more excitement generally among the crowds.

Also just look at the difference in hype when there is Fifa world cup and when there is cricket world cup. Whenever there is fifa world cup it feels like festival, while for cricket its nowhere near.

  6. cricket promote hunu ramro ho. Corruption last dherai thiyo + xa football ma. corruption ahile 4-5 barsa bata balla kam vako xa. Nepotism-Favorism pani xa, surfacely herda nadekhiyeko matra ho. New youth le chance nai paudainan. Khai ta ramro bachcha select garera nourishment gareko? Khai ta ramro training deko players lai? Tyo corruption kanda paxi ANFA ko downfall vako ho. Child prodigy locate garera uniharulai training diye po future strong hunxa. Skill vanda ni attacker lai priority dinxan mainly.

On the other hand, cricket; see aajako performance. football ko downfall vayepaxi matra ho cricket ko unexpected rise vako Nepal ma. Main reason ta Andrew Leonard hun. Play pani ramro xa, win streak pani ramro, india ma cricketer =celebrity tesaile Nepal ma pani influence vako ho jasto lagxa.

I think Nepal ko football supporters either school padhne haru hun josle school ma football khelne vayera football herna man parauxan, or football enthusiasts hun (ekdam thorai jana xan yesta) or football players ko family/relatives hun. tes bahek Nepali football support garne koi xaina.
