Published on
A military statement said that an Israeli attack on Saturday morning hurt two civilians in the province of Tartous in the northwestern part of the country.
The Israelis attacked from the Mediterranean, which is west of the city of Tripoli in Lebanon. The attack was aimed at chicken farms near the town of Hamidiya, which is south of Tartous, according to the statement.
It also said that the attack caused damage to things.
The attack is the latest in a long line of military strikes by Israel against Syrian sites that Israel usually says are linked to Iran.
The Syrian government has repeatedly condemned the attacks and said that Israel is helping groups in Syria that have been labeled as terrorists.
